I was born in Italy in 1976. I got a degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna with a specialization in contemporary art and cinema. I worked for a Contemporary Art Museum in Italy for almost 6 years. In 2013 I decided to quit my job and move to Amsterdam where I started to pursue my lifetime passion: photography. I have graduated from the FOTOfactory Amsterdam in January 2018 with a video installation titled FULL EXPOSURE. My projects—both images and videos—come from my personal life experiences. I investigate themes related to the complex and delicate tension between fears and desires, past and present, movement and stillness. I use photography as a therapeutic process, a way to express my inner story while a means of self discovery and self awareness. My projects have been published on digital Italian and American magazines and I have exhibited in some private and public institutions in California. I currently share my time between Europe and Los Angeles and I am hopeful that my photography will take me to the far corners of the earth.
For any requests concerning a photo project or just to say ciao, please drop me an email. It will be a pleasure to hear from you!
